Exceptional Care for Children is excited to announce the Grand Opening of a new patient wing! This expansion will increase the patient population from twenty-two to thirty-three medically fragile children. Exceptional Care for Children is Delaware's first and only pediatric long-term care facility and provides this population of children an alternative to growing up in a hospital. The Pre-opening event is an opportunity for our friends, followers and the social media community to come in and meet the kids who call ECC their home. In addition, attendees of this event will be the first guests to walk the new patient expansion in an exclusive open house event. Our guests will also enjoy a cocktail hour featuring Bella Vista Trattoria's fantastic creations. In addition a cash bar will be available.
In order to be eligible for the event, all we ask is that an attendee provide a donation for Exceptional Care for Children's Silent Auction. Donations will be featured at the 2012 Spring Gala held April 14 at the Chase Center on the Riverfront. Along with admission to the Pre-Opening event, your donation will win you recognition at ECC's 2012 Gala through the use of BidPal Technology. You will also be recognized in the Gala program as a donor to the event, a featured donor recognition ID displayed with the auction item and you will have a chance to win a business card ad in the event program through the contest explained below.
PRE-OPENING PHOTO CONTEST
All participants will have the opportunity to participate in a photo contest that can win them a free (non-transferable) business card ad in the 2012 Gala Program book for either your business, event or as a way for advertising for job-seeking. The 2012 Gala will be attended by 700 guests and the program will be a wonderful way to reach out to the Delaware community. To participate simply bring your camera and document your time at ECC in pictures. Following the event you will email your photo collection to ECC and it will be uploaded to their Facebook page. The phtographer whose album has the most likes at the end of one week will win the ad in the Gala Program.
